To stay on the leading edge Jim and his sons Kyle and Scott are active participants in national, regional, and trade associations. Jim was President of National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) in 1972. In 1992, he received the NRCA's highest honor, the J.A. Piper award, for lifetime dedication to the roofing industry. Scott has served on NRCA's Board of Directors, and Kyle has served as President of the Western States Roofing Contractors Association (WSRCA) and the Roofing Contractors Association (RCA) of Oregon and Southwest Washington.
