This re-roofing project started with a 1,300 square feet tear-off of Built-Up Roofing and various types of insulation. The underlying decks consisted of concrete, zonolite, plywood, and metal. Snyder had only four areas to stage for demolition of the entire job. Insulation used included flat stock, tapered, and crickets, with various methods of attachment. We then applied a 2-ply vapor barrier over the entire roof, followed by Poly-iso, 3/4" coverboard, and Soprema Base. A 2-ply and cap, with nearly 2 miles of aluminum torch-on flashings, finished the project.
