The South Park Apartments were re-roofed in the summer of 1998. These beautiful brick high-rise apartments (13 stories) are set in the park blocks adjacent to Portland State University. The system installed was a Firestone ballasted EPDM over an extensive tapered insulation system. This building, less than 10 years old, had experienced leaks from the beginning, which were corrected with the new roof system and application. The difficulties of working in downtown Portland were overcome and another product of excellence was delivered to the owners.
