Standard Plaza, completed in 1997, and Standard Center completed in 1998, are 17 and 19 stories respectively. Both of these buildings are considered the first of Portland’s skyscrapers and are owned by Standard Real Estate Investors. Snyder Roofing initially roofed these buildings 35 years ago. Snyder was called back to roof them again. Following removal of the existing roof, a Polyglass Roofing specification was developed using 3 layers of APP modified membrane with hopes of equaling the former roof life. Snyder Roofing is proud to be responsible for overcoming the difficulties encountered in this type of project and delivering a top quality product. Both of these projects are prime examples of working together with the owner toward a common goal.
